Today is January 25, 2022, 21 years ago on this very day I passed my series 7 exam. I studied for six straight weeks all day every day I attended a class on Wall Street the teacher was phenomenal & very well known. after I passed my test he told me to come up to his office. he was teaching A class of about 100 students. I Open the back door to his class he made eye contact with me and he declare openly my name in front of the room in that I just passed my series 7 exam. The entire room gave me a standing ovation. What a great feeling it was. All of the students started clapping loudly. It was the beginning of my career as a licensed stock representative on Wall Street. A lot of people had trouble passing the series seven but it was no trouble for me at all. I studied and I completed and passed within six weeks. The hardest job is not passing the series. it’s building a business from scratch step-by-step brick by brick and then by making your clients a return on their investments, then getting referrals which is extremely rewarding when one of your clients calls you up and says they have a couple of their golfing buddies that they would like for you to talk to and to open an account. Throughout my years working on Wall Street I was included in a couple of Wall Street who’s who clubs. One of them being the very prestigious Institutional Investor sub-advisory roundtable of New York. There are only 62 members and I was included as one of them. It’s an elite club and I was honored. I’ve been a member since 2007. I spoke at the annual New York conference in the Geopolitical room. I’ve always been very much interested in Geopolitics. I’ve always done very well investing in regards to Geopolitical news. Whether it was buying oil stocks before oil went up or natural gas or certain key events that were going to take place that I knew about and read and researched. I traded with that information on how they affected worldwide global equity markets. I was also included in another Wall Street Who’s Who club. I won 8 awards. It wasn’t for the money that I was earning but for the money that I was making for my clients. I was put in competition with 125 other very elite traders from all the major brokerage firms and I came in 21st they had a black-tie gala event and I was honored and given certificates, plaques, and awards it was a great feeling. My clients had much success having me as their adviser. My clients were everything to me and I was everything to them. If they didn’t make money then I didn’t make any money. I’d wake up at 4 AM every day turn on Bloomberg right away while I got ready put a suit and tie on and was in the office by 6 AM every day working every Saturday as well. My business was now everything to me I strived to get here at a very young age I wasn’t going to lose these elevated levels of success. I was Laser-focused to keep enhancing my professional career.
